The Old Feld Home is a turn of the Century Mansion, National Registered Historic Property and Mississippi’s outstanding example of Mediterranean
Romanesque Architecture built in the shape of an H. The overall layout provides for complete privacy.
The Old Feld Home was constructed in 1912 and remained in one family for decades. Mr. Russell V. Puckett purchased the home in the 80's
and has lived there since that time. The home contains approximately 5000 square feet and is topped with a unique blue tile hip roof.
It is one of the most soundly constructed and uniquely designed homes of the era. Rooms include a large Receiving Hall with two window seats,
Parlor with Italian Marble Mantle, 3 Bedrooms with connecting Baths, Conservatory, Dining Room, Breakfast Room, Butler’s Pantry, two connecting
enclosed Porches (one off a bedroom and one off the breakfast room), Kitchen, Extra Bedroom, two service Hallways, Basement, 2 ½ Baths and
domed entrance Foyer. Fireplaces are located in Parlor, Dining Room, Breakfast Room and one Bedroom. Portions of the interior were designed by Harry L. Moses (1875-1933), Interior Designer, New Orleans. Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase a one of a kind.
The Home and adjoining Lot will be offered separately or together on October 11, 2008 at 12:00 noon.
