2/28/2009 - Moody Estate Auction, Vicksburg - The Moody Estate auction held on February 28, 2009 was rewarding to the Seller and Buyers. The 2300 sq. ft. home sold for $144,000.00 and the contents exceeded $25,000.00. There were many bargains and something for everyone. Many people who attended the auction expressed thanks for such a good time. Although the weather was cold the crowd stayed with us all day. We wish to thank the Seller, Pat Moody Biggs and her Husband, Norman Biggs, as well as all 100+ Buyers who attended the auciton. Frank D. Edens, JD

1/2009 - Mississippi Auctioneers Association (MAA) Annual Meeting - The Mississippi Auctioneers Association held it's annual meeting at the Mississippi Cattlemens Association facility in Jackson in January. Edens Auctions team members, Frank and Justin attended the meeting along with many other Mississippi Auctioneers. Justin was elected Secretary Treasurer of the association. Please join the MAA. 1/19/2008 - Mississippi Auctioneers Association (MAA) Annual Meeting - The Mississippi Auctioneers Association held it's annual meeting at the Mississippi Cattlemens Association facility in Jackson on January 19, 2008. Tommy Williams, NAA president appeared as guest speaker to discuss the Internet, marketing and the NAA. Edens Auctions team members, Frank, Justin and Beau attended the meeting along with over 20 other Mississippi Auctioneers. It was a rewarding experience. Justin won the MAA Rookie Auctioneer of the Year. I would encourage all Mississippi Auctioneers to join the Association and help build our profession.
