History

Edens Auctions has it's roots planted in the 1960's, when James E. Edens, III graduated from Repperts School of Auctioneering and began auctioneering at Cattle Sale barns across the State of Mississippi. For over 30 years he was the top cattle auctioneer in the State and sold weekly sales in Meridian, Jackson, Macon, Westpoint and other cities.

The Father of four son's, Ed, Frank, John and Lee, three also became auctioneers in the late 70's. Okolona Auction Company was formed in the 70's and conducted antique auctions in Okolona for 10 years.

In 1977 Frank graduated Repperts School of Auctioneering and operated Okolona Auction Company with his Father until 1982. Since 1984 he has been an attorney with the law firm of Adams & Edens, Brandon, Mississippi. He has remained active in the auction business and has sold real estate, estates, antiques and other personal property in Rankin, Hinds and other Counties in the State for individuals, estates, and various branches of Mississippi Government. He is also co-owner of High Street Antique Mall in Jackson and affiliated with Edens Antiques in Okolona. Frank is also licensed real estate broker and Realtor.
